mactalker
Hey guys. Though I use the ASUS P6T (no SE, no Deluxe), I followed this P6T Deluxe >> tutorial to install OSX 10.6 on my pc but it doesn't work. My cpu is i7; socket 1366 and 6GB DDR 1333 G.Skill. (Unfortunately my SATA must be set to RAID) --- I installed SnowLeopard on an external HDD out of a Mac OSX 10.5.4 which runs in in VMware by using this [open '/Volumes/Mac OS X Install DVD/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg'] command. Then I followed the other instructions of the tutorial. When I boot from the HDD I choose MacOS in the Chameleon bootloader and after a few seconds "Kernel Panic" or sth. like this is displayed (I have to reset the computer). --- Do I have to use a newer boot loader or is my mainboard incompatible ? P.S.: As the installation disk I used a retail OSX install dvd _v.10.6 .
