Its the following:

I was trying to install an update to my OSX, which is 10.5.2 up to 10.5.8. While I was reading how to do so, I learned that through normal update is impossible, and one option would be installing Chameleon.

I had already tried to install chameleon once, and it screwed my whole system, than had to reinstall Leo4Allv3. And I don`t know where, but I have also read that if my partition was GUID would be better (forgot why). So now my partition table is GUID.

Then I downloaded Chameleon CR4, and followed a tutorial to manual installation, through Terminal. Didn't work. When i rebooted, it would not load.

Got stuck at:

boot0:test

boot0:load

(something else here)

Partition error HFS+

So I booted from DVD and tried Chameleon CR4 installer, and also didn't work. Now I'm stuck at:

Mac OS Version:

Not yet set.

Press the Power Button to reboot

Is there something I can do to install chameleon or just another bootloader without have to format the whole HD?

also, if you can't answer the questions above, how can I install an update to 10.5.8??

Thanks for the help ;)

PS:Leo4All v3 is the only one I tested which I was able to install (probably because of my video Chipset, Intel GMA950). Downloading another one will suck.
