Almost got iatkos v7 running on A8N32 SLI

Hi,

I got Mac OSX running on my ASUS A8N32SLI

CPU AMD Opteron 185 UP (stepping 2 rev JH9-E6)

Gfx nVidia 8800 GT.

I only have 2 known problems actually:

1) my USB Logitech mouse starts running fine and after few seconds moves incredibly faster then, X and Y movments are inverted. Any idea?

2) Cannot access internet. I choose Marvell Yukon 88E8056 driver during install. Mine is 88E8053. Seems incompatible. Maybe I can choose 88E8001 (AFAIR) I'll try.

Is there any driver available for 88E8053? Well, Maybe I found a gigabyte_ds3-4pack.1.2.dmg driver which is supposed to work with my 80E8053 network controller.

I tried to put it on my USB key but Even if my kb mouse work via USB i cannot see m'y USB key nor my ipod. Any idea?

If I want to change the driver during install, Do I have to erase the partition first? customization seems unable to remove an already installed component.

I choose kernel voodoo 9.5.0. Do I have to test 9.7.0 one?

Regards,

For the mouse issues, first kick your ass and try to disable legacy USB support in BIOS.

I'm using Voodoo 9.7.0. Just give it a try, you'll maybe lucky....

Ok, I'll try it. thanks. :)

I disabled USB legacy support which was on auto in the bios, so maybe not ON. In any case, my problem remains.

It's a bit like if the mouse driver was started several times. Is it possible? how to check it?

I'm also still looking for a Marvell Yukon 80E8053 driver for iatkos V7 (Mac OSX 10.5)

gigabyte_ds3-4pack.1.2.dmg is for 10.4.8 and also contains some other drivers which is maybe not a good thing. Tell me if you know where to find it.

Disabling Legacy USB is a bad idea because I loose my USB keyboard before boot and anyway, that doesn't change my problem.

How to check if the mouse driver is correctly loaded?
