This guide is how to get Leopard work on Dell inspiron 6400. Seriously this my laptop and i cant replace it right now, and i really need to perform some applications for iPhone. Dell inspiron 6400 Bios :Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A14 Processor: Intel® Core2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM Graphic card : Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family why i made this ??? this is an old laptop !!! maybe i wast more than one week just reading and re-installing it again and over again so i have to made a summary of what i did so no body else wast it's time trying it out . and to find this post easy by search engines any way i tried iatkos v7 10.5.7 leopard, i downloaded(rapidshare links) the DVD from a blog by searching google . now you must get to first post on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1375116 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=205451 then you have to get macDisk on windows 7 and copy the attached files to extentions from attachments /System/Library/Extention/ after finished delete Extensions.mkext //this file mean is the cache for extentions the main problem is in Graphic card : Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family and can be solved by the first attachment and to solve cpu problem you must patch the system with second attachment GMA950.zip VoodooTSCSync.kext.rar Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205454-guide-how-to-install-osx86-leopard-1057-on-dell-ispiron-6400/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
