ayman.awartani
hello again, if you are along with this series now we wanna to configure the dual boot using Chameleon 2 here is the #1 post http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1375116 and this is the #2 series after installing leopard and rebooting now we have to made windows 7 partition's active. you can do it leopard terminal or windows DVD instillation. //leopard terminal fdisk - e /dev/rdisk0 //where 0 is the first HD you can modify it flag 1 //1 is the windows 7 partition's you can modity it //note HD starts from 0 and partitions from 1 quit reboot //windows 7 command prombt //with windows 7 DVD go to repair from a down link //then after failer of repair you just about to get a menu choese 'comand prombt' diskpart select disk 0 // again 0 is your first HD select partition 1 //note HD starts from 0 and partitions from 1 active quit then reboot and repear it (should work out of the box) now just you need to return and make leopard partition active and if you made it active and still have the same problem (like me ) you should get to the terminal and make the partition HFS+ by using terminal fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 // 0 means that you are on first HD print //will show up your partitions and the one that have a star is the one that we would work in //note this may damage your partitions and may you lost some data like so please be careful about it //why we choose the one with a star because we just made it active in windows 7 //if you didn't do that then don't continue because mac list partition difference that windows //and you may choose the wrong partition //let say we have partition 3 setpid 3 AF //now we mount the partition manually and made it HFS+ quit and you are ready yo go Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205451-dual-boot-between-windows-7-and-leopard-1057-using-chameleon-2/ Share on other sites
