Successful Install BUT boots only to blank screen, no Darwin

Hey guys,

 

Using Kalyway 10.5.2, I've gotten through the installation process but unusually, I am unable to boot to anything. My Vista bootloader remains intact, but anytime I select my Mac OS on the bootloader, I'm sent to a blank screen with a blinking cursor--no Darwin whatsoever.

 

Note: when I finished installing, unusually, Darwin did not write itself on my computer. Rather, I was able to access the Vista bootloader from the start, which is seemingly already something wrong.
