Meatwagon Posted December 31, 2009 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Ok i just built 2 hackingtoshs over the last 2 days, had 0 issues with them until yesterday on one of them. When i was trying to install ilife 09 the computer froze so i had to do a hard reset. when i rebooted i lost all my sound, its grayed out. I tried installing the EP45UD3P Snow Leopard.pkg (and EP45UD3rRSnow Leopard.pkg) nothing will work, i checked in my bios, everything seems fine, i even did a fresh install (over top of my old one so i can keep my files) and stil nothing. Any ideas? thanks well i just fixed it, downloaded gigabyteboot.mkpg installed rebooted and everything is fine. fudonet Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 I had exactly this same issue, hit me about a month ago. So I tried various things and gave up and just got a Creative USB Soundcard. Can you post a link to the 'gigabyteboot.mpkg' please!
