jwhitlow1031 Posted December 31, 2009 Share Posted December 31, 2009 ok guys, so i've given the osx thing a few tries in the past and have given up due mainly to my lack of knowledge.. both attempts were on different computers in the past. Trying to get 10.5.6 (or anything for that matter) installed on my custom desktop. Its running an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition processor off of an msi NF980-G65 mobo. let me know if you'd like more info.. not sure what might help. im good with computers however know nothing about osx so this is my attempt to learn. Anyway, when i try to install (i've given many different dist's a shot) i always get the same error, -x, -v, or with no options gives me the same error and info. it starts to load and then gets to the point of loading the CPU's. It gets to this point and continues with something along the lines of: Started cpu 03 Panic (cpu 2 caller ox0019DACB): copy_window_init: cpu > num_Cpus Debugger called: <panic> more after that but the rest doesnt seem to be of much info at least to me... any ideas or need more info let me know, thanks for any help in advance!
