Help installing iatkos v5i on dell inspiron 6000

Can anyone help me?

 

I installed 10.4.11 on my system with no problems but having an issue installing Iatkos v5i on my Dell Inspiron 6000

 

Specs:

 

GMA 950

 

Broadcom 440

 

intel wireless

 

sse2

 

i tried different configurations but nothing seems to be working, can anyone offer assistance?

can i please have a bit more info on what problems you

are experiencing during the install. i think if i have more

Hi, i was able to install the Iatkos 10.5.5 on my dell inspiron 6000 and was working well then the software combo 10.5.8 update worked, had full qe/ci support, resolution, but when i tried to change a kext because dmg's would not, since then.. i had no display and was forced to wipe and reinstall 10.5.5.

 

I have been working 3 weeks now trying to reinstall 10.5.5 but can only get 1024/768 resolution, does not detect external monitor connected to it for a second display, no cd/dvd support; no qe/ci support; etc.. These all worked before. I have chosen all different configuration settings, but nothing seems to work and it is slow.

 

Below is what i have on my system and what i have chosen in the custom install:

 

System: Dell Inspiron 6000, BIOS A06, intel 915gm chip, broadcom ethernet, intel wireless.

 

i have chosen Iatkos Main System,

PC EFI V9 bootloader;

smbios driver - EFI Air;

Kernal 9.5.0 Voodoo ( i have tried to 9.2.0 as well)

Apple Decrypt

with and without smbios x86 - macbook

disabler.kext;

remove thermal kext

VGA driver efi strings for intel ( i have tried with and without the gma950, tried the a and b, not together)

System - laptop, ntfs-3g

network, - broadcomm

 

Am i doing something wrong? No matter what i try, same result! No options for any other resolution other than 1024X 768 and no support according to the system profiler.

 

I would appreciate any help.
