Mohammad Adli Posted December 30, 2009 Share Posted December 30, 2009 Hi all would anyone help me i've got Snow Leopard 10.6 and burn it on DL-DVD but it won't boot ... though it's running on my "10.5.8 Lite Edition" without any problems ... even with choosing startup disk, still won't boot .... all buddies confirmed this version that i had got it's ok "we have it from same source" . here is a screen shot : my PC contents : Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 Processor : Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz, 8MB RAM : 4 GB VGA : Gigabyte "nVidia 8500GT" 512 NOTE : after choosing startup disk and pressing restart Button it won't restart thanks for concerning ,, waiting for a reply Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204995-snow-leopard-106-wont-boot/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Akutsito Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Retail SL wont boot unless you use some sort of bootloader first, there are some guides for 10.6, look at any of them, you'll see what i mean, follow them, only thing that will change, are the Kexts that will go in your /Extra folder for your boot loader (which will have to match your hardware).
