Phorte Posted December 29, 2009 Share Posted December 29, 2009 G'day all, I'm planning to build a hack soon (i7-920 + GA-EX58-UD5) purely to run Logic 9 for music production... Has anyone had any experience using the GA-EX58-UD5 mobo with the Apogee Duet (obviously over firewire)? I've heard of some people getting random pops/clicks/etc whilst using other audio interfaces over firewire on a hack so was looking for some more specific feedback. I know the mobo has the TI firewire chipset which is the most compatible... Thanks in advance, Linh also - the build will be following digital_dreamer's guide in the tutorial section...
