So I tried installing iPC 10.5.6 on my desktop since it's the only distro that got past the "waiting for root device" screen. I got to the installer, formatted and partitioned and everything and got confused with the drivers part. I tried different variations but i get nothing but a greay screen with the apple logo and the frozen spinning circle. I booted with -v once and saw something with nforceATA, so i think this is the problem. What drivers should I pick to get this working? Should I do vanilla or use the Voodoo kernal?

Mobo: XFX 790i Ultra

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q8400

GFX: EVGA GTX 260

Ram: 4GB DDR3

Chipset: Nforce 790i Ultra

Sound: Realtek HD Audio

Network Adapter: Nvidia Nforce networking controller

All harddrives (1) and DVD drives (1) are SATA. I read the Nforce thread as well, someone help please?

Also, empire EFI doesn't load up for me. Right after my comp boots of the empire efi cd, it reboots, and continually does so, anyone know the problem with this?
