There are several guides on the Asus P6T motherboard. Here are the components of my build: i7 920 C0 CPU Asus P6T6 WS Revolution WD Caviar Black 500GB HDD 6GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 RAM EVGA GTX 275 1792MB HP dvd1170i DVD burner Linksys WUSB600N V.1 wireless USB adapter Do I need to boot from the SL DVD or from a USB flash drive? It seems complicated and have to install kexts properly to function in SL. I did get a SL DVD from a friend who uses a Macbook. I'm trying to install SL on the P6T6 Revo and I can't get past a kernel panic that I get from some ACPI driver. Tried a couple of guides without luck. I'm quite a noob about it. I just have a Leo (10.5.6) installation on my Samsung NC10 from JasOSX which works flawlessly (though I had to replace wireless card with Dell). rpgman1 Posted January 2, 2010 Author Share Posted January 2, 2010 SL is pretty picky when it comes to kexts (drivers). Basically you have to find a kext for the component you need. It's not easy to install SL anyway since everybody seems to have different components.
