85734763
Hi I have successfully installed snow leopard on my P5W DH Deluxe! Typing on it right now! The guide I used is: http://osx86sv.wordpress.com/2009/10/22/os...sal-on-pc-news/ My hardware: Mobo: Asus P5W DH Deluxe GPU: MSI NX8500GT-MTD256EH GeForce 8500 GT 256MB 128-bit I still need to get sound working, but I haven't finished that part of the guide, I'm focusing on this more important graphics issue first. I went to OSX86 tools in my install of SL and clicked, "Add EFI Strings/Boot Flag", when I click that, the ONLY thing that happens is a screen comes up that says, " AppleScript Error Can't make "0" into type boolean. (-1700) " And then I click OK and don't know what to do. Here is a copy and paste of all my information from system profiler: Display: Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 32 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0421 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes On another note, I know that my GPU is wholly supported at least by OSX 10.5.2, which it worked perfectly when installing kalyways dvd. I'm looking for a solution to fix? OSX86 Tools, or another permanent way to get my resolution back to its full beautiful 1900x1200 res. please delete my dumb stupid double, triple, quadruple post- sorry Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204152-sl-installed-cant-change-resolution/ Share on other sites
