yacoboy
hey guys, i have a desktop computer with: intel pentium 4 3ghz 2gb ram 1 x 250gb hard drive i have sucessfully managed to dual boot kalyway 10.5.2 with windows 7 using the chameleon boot loader on one hard drive using different partitions. however as i do not use the osx86 partition that much i would like to remove it. i want to be able to have windows 7 using the full 250gb and have osx86 completely removed. how do i do this. i dont want to just remove the osx partition because the chameleon boot loader is running from that partition and i am scared that i will not be able to boot back into windows and i do not have the windows 7 installation disk / recovery disk. how can i achieve this? gdscei
Do this: -If you cannot yet boot into Win7, boot up with win7 disk and startup repair. -Boot into Win7, and download/install a partition manager, such as EASEUS Partition Master. (works fine for me). BEFORE FOLLOWING THE NEXT STEPS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF YOUR WIN7 PARTITION. SOMETHING COULD GO WRONG. -Open it up, and delete the partition that has Mac installed on it. -Now, right-click on the Win7 partition, and hit 'resize/move'. Now enter the new space you want it to have. -Apply and reboot.
