condition_unknown
I have installed snow leopard using a USB stick, the retail disc and myhack installer. Using myhack, the boot plist is set to arch=i386 and the machine boots fine. When trying to boot with arch=x86_x64, the install boots all the way to the desktop and then kernel panics. What stats would be needed about my machine and how do I get a log of the boot so some kind person can point me in the right direction? Beerkex'd
Can you boot 64-bit in safe mode? (add -x at the end when booting) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204065-64-bit-kernel-panic-problem/#findComment-1369676 Share on other sites

Beerkex'd
But you can still run console and check the logs. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204065-64-bit-kernel-panic-problem/#findComment-1369960 Share on other sites
condition_unknown
Would it be best just to take a photo of the kernal panic I'm getting and then you could have a look at it and see what you think the problem might be? Beerkex'd
No promises but by all means post a photo. If I can't help, maybe someone else can.
