kingdamo87
Hi, I'm trying to install iatkos v7 on my m1330 but run into problems even before the actual installation step - which is what most of the guides i can find seem to be focussing on, the installation. When i boot from the DVD, i get the ' boot: ' prompt and enter 'cpus=1 -v' and i get the following : (sorry the pic is a wee bit blurred) It always hangs at that 'IOAPIC : ' line. Doesn't look too positive does it! If i run the boot process without pushing f8 and giving command line args then i'll get the grey loading screen, but it will just sit there and do nothing except pretend to load. I've read articles where iatkos v5 and v1 have been installed on an m1330, but they dont really mention what to do if you can't even make it to the installer step My m1330 has a Intel core 2 duo processor T7250 @ 2.00 GH and 3Gb Ram. Really want to get this problem cracked as i've been trying for ages to get it working. Any help will be greatly appreciated! cheers! ruller
Did you try messing around with the SATA controller modes? It might get you to the next step or so....
