i found out that you have to install from regular sata

then switch it over to the red sata connector

you cannot boot from red sata

dont forget to transfer atapi disc drive to jmicron esata connector after install because the drive wont work otherwise

did you get your nforce sata working? i have nearly the same harware as you and I've just only been able to make them run booting in 32bit (arch=i386)

 

With 32 bits it takes a lot to boot up and sometimes it doesn't finishes so that I came back to 64bit.

 

Do you know if a applenforceata has been compiled in 64bit? Or have you had success with supernforceata?

 

Does sleep function work to you? i cannot get it work but doesn't matter at all.

 

I've been using it for a week more or less in 64bit using all kind of programs and no Kernel Panic
