bobby681
Hey, I've got an Acer Aspire 5920 running vanilla 10.6 and everything works except the wireless internet. It came with a 3945abg which I know is unsupported at the moment other than mercurysquad's beta driver which doesn't work with snow leopard. I replaced it with a broadcom bcm4321 after reading around about this card working out of the box. I've been trying all day with the bcm43xx enabler script and I can't get it working at all. It doesn't appear in Airport or in Network Settings and I'm stumped at what to try next. Is there anything that can be done with this card in 10.6? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203917-broadcom-bcm4321-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
bebe1973
Hi, Sorry to disturb you, it seems we have the same issue with the BCM4321 chipset card. I've bought the Netgear Pci card WN311B with this chipset, but it doesn't work with SL 10.6.2. Did u manage the driver install ? Could you provide me the informations if this is the case. Aspire5920G
For the Aspire 5920G, install this modified kext and boot in 32-bit mode so that the laptop will recognize the card. Then try the Broadcom script if necessary.
