r333xxh4v0k Posted December 25, 2009 Share Posted December 25, 2009 ok, so ive tryed installing OSX on my aspire 5517 notebook, ive read countless tutorials, and have done countless google searches, the two distro's i have tryed are kallyway & leo4lliv3 both distro's seemed to have installed perfect, but after the "your computer will restart in xx seconds" it freezes when trying to boot.. when useing kallyway it would get to the white & grey apple screen and freeze...on the other it word freeze just rite before the white & grey screen.. is it just not a possibility of running osx on this laptop? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203850-acer-aspire-5517-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
