audit13
Are you running in 64 bit mode? If yes, you need to download the latest version (2.1.7?, not sure) of Macfuse that is 64-bit compatible, then install ntfs-3g. This is what I did on my retail 64-bit SL install on an Asus p5b-vm. audit13
To determine if you're running 64-bit, launch Terminal, type sudo -s, enter your password, type -uname, and press enter. If you see x64, you're running in 64-bit. If you are running 64, install this first: http://static.caurea.org/MacFUSE/MacFUSE-2.1.7.dmg Than install ntfs-3g from here: http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/ What equipment are you using to run SL? The mobo and cpu would be most helpful. audit13
Awesome. Glad it worked. I was running into the same problem with my p5b-vm. I received error messages when I originally installed ntfs-3g. I though the problem couldn't be Macfuse since ntfs-3g included Macfuse and didn'thave any error messages when installing ntfs-3g. I figured out that it must be the OS kernel and, when I found the 64-bit version of Macfuse, it eliminated the error messages and mounted my ntfs drives.
