Eratosthenes Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 I have just completed my first Hackintosh; a Lifehacker GA-EP45-UD3P using a Gigabyte NVidia 9500GT 1GB RAM. The install works flawlessly and the computer is stable. QE/CI appear to be working. The problem (if it is one) is that I can't switch resolutions without losing the display. I click on another resolution or refresh rate in the Display Prefs and the screen goes blue and stays that way. Rebooting doesn't reset anything. Only solution I found is to reinstall SL. 1. How do I get out of the blank blue screen without having to reinstall? 2. What is causing this and how do I get resolutions to switch safely? If there is a repeat of this thread, my apologies and please point me in the right direction.
