Amps1994 Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 Ok, I have searched and searched and as a last resort I'm posting my last 3 problems that i need assistance with. My keyboard and trackpad randomly stop working after a reboot. I think it happens after I install some software. Last time I installed software I repaird permissions before I rebooted and didn't have an issue so I'm not sure if the issue is resolved on this. I hate to lug a USB keyboard around with me. I can use the keyboard/mouse combo to "re-register" the same kext files and reboot and it works. 2nd - When I eject my USB thumb drive, it doesn't come back on when I reinsert it. Not a major issue since I can reboot with it in. Not sure what to do about this. Last - My Graphics Intel GMAX3100 works but it's only in software mode. My resolution is 1440 x 960 with 32bit and millions of colors. When I click on "more info" and attempt to click on Graphics the computer locks up. I can reboot, but it would be nice to have QE enabled. I have tried many combinations of AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.kext and Naitit.kext but the lock ups continue when I click on this function. Any help? I'm running Chameleon RC4 with GraphicsEnabler=yes, but I don't think this has done anything. Sleep / shutdown / restart working, wifi working, sound working... so it seems everything is working pretty well on 10.5.8. I did figure out the seatbelt.kext needed to a 10.5.8 version. Thanks.
