InsanelyZach
I have an HP dv7-1261 model laptop. It has 2 HD's, one 500GB for Windows and a 160GB I threw in there for this project; 4GB of RAM and an AMD x64 dual-core processor. I used iATKOS v7 to install and followed someone else's guide for their dv7, different model though, and OS X install went fine. When I boot to it, it doesn't give any errors, loads the Chameleon bootloader, and then shows the gray Apple screen. And that's where it stops. The hard drive LED on my laptop isn't blinking at all at this point. It just sits like that. I went into verbose mode (-v option) and watched the command lines scroll on through without stopping or freezing anywhere, then it goes to a black screen. I've also tried the "cpus=1" option, no go. I've successfully installed Leopard on a Dell 1520, using this website for all resources, so I'm not all that new to this... But can anyone help??
