Installing 10.5.6 on T42

Hi everyone!

 

I recently tried installing Mac OS X version 10.5.6 using iPC on my T42 2373 L1U laptop. The installation went fine but after I used -v -f to restart, I get the Apple logo loading screen then nothing: just a black screen. So I have a few questions about this :

 

1. Has anyone tried installing Mac OS X 10.5.6 on their T42 2373 L1U? If yes and if it worked, which drivers did you choose?

 

2. On the OSx86 Wiki, there are no drivers list for T42 2373 L1U so which drivers' list would be closest to mine? The one for 2374 or for 2373 but another model (although this choice would mean downloading another version of Mac OS X)?

 

3. Is there anyway I can fix this black screen problem?

 

Edit : Okay nevermind, I got it working. It was a driver problem. But I still have some questions :

1. Can I use the Software Update to update my Mac OS X or do I have to download an update DVD?

2. I notice that nothing happens when I select a file and press the delete key. I have to right-click and move to thrash to delete. Is there a way to make the Delete key work?
