TimeShift
I`ve noticed that if I put my computer to sleep, ok, it sleeps, and turn on normally when I want. But, If i sleep it, then after (dont matter how much time after) when it restarts, the computers turns everything off (internet/usb/mouse/keyboard) but the computer stay on and the screen freezes with the spinning circle, but the circle stops. I was having exact same problems, but it turned out that VoodooPower mini was the culprit. You'd better try OSXrestart.kext, which can be found in forums. After removing VoodooPowerMini and installing OSXrestart.kext fixed the long-standing my restart-after-sleep issue.
