I'm trying to install either leo4all, iac v7 or ipc (which I was actually able to get working on my desktop that's a asus p5kc) and having zero luck with it. Currently, every time I get any distro to even boot to the install menu it obviously doesn't show the hard drives because... it can't detect the hardware for whatever reason. Any other time I try to install it times out at waiting for boot (I can't remember what name) and just keeps repeating the message.

This bios is very limited as most people know and I've looked and looked for what version of the ata drivers to pick up but haven't found a solid suggestion yet.

Could ANYONE out there help me figure out either what set of kexts ill need to inject into the install dvd or if maybe there is a version of leo that someone has already patched that would work with this?

I would be greatly appreciative if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you ahead time!

The only quasi success I've had was using Green's extensions.mkexts but unfortunately I think I need to use Obsidian's which isn't available under Rapidshare anymore. So if anyone could toss a link to his it would be greatly appreciated.

The problem I keep running into is with using Green's mkext my drives won't mount and leo4allv4.1 only recognizes my 160 gig drive as 128 gig one. I need to figure out why exactly its not mounting but I can't get it to even see the correct drive size :weight_lift:

Oh, and I can't edit my .dmg files or iso files under the Mac OSX when its mounted as I have no read/write permissions, so going through and doing Obsidian's way of adding kexts to the install disc via OSX isn't an option either unless someone would be so kind as to tell me how I can set permissions to edit mounted drive images.

I've noticed this forum seems to be wanting for reaching out to people that often as of late... that's disheartening.
