Tadachi18
When I first Installed OSX 10.5.6 on my PC it worked fine Everything.... Then I Did a fresh install of 10.5.8 to avoid the problem most people were having. With 10.5.8 i would have static sound on everything... So I thought X.5.6 worked fine... But the Issue has crossed over to 10.5.6. Two Drivers work with my sound card. .the Azalia and the Voodoo... Both cause the Static Sound. When Im on something that playbacks sound the speakers work fine for a few seconds until i stop moving my mouse? But If I start moving my mouse around in Circles it sounds perfect but wen i stop it starts getting messed up again an goes quiet. So My question it... IS the mouse or hence the mouse drivers causing the Problem? The Drivers appear to be working just fine and doing what they were meant to do, but the mouse has risen a brow. ***UPDATE*** The Static Sound was a CPU issue.... Fixed by booting with idlehalt=0 cpus=2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203219-static-sound-mouse-be-involved/ Share on other sites
