accidentally copied mac os x install disk in hardrive?

ok guys i really need your help!

here's what happened

i tried to install a new version of mac os in my mac book

but when the CD opened up and i selected the main language it said that it couldn't be installed

and then it'd ask me if i wanted to restart the system which i didn't and it would leave me in the install disks menu and it occurred to me to go to disk utilities and i screwed around with that (idiotic idea)

and some how i copied the install disk in my hard rive and i cant find a way to remove it!!

I've tried everything i know which isn't much since i do not know much about macs

any ideas of how i can fix this?on my start up disk setting the install disk appears and the other thing but their both useless
