Show_Me_The_Rage Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 just so you guys know, its NOT one bought from apple, i DO own one, but i gave it to my sister for her mac. The one im using is a .cdr file i burned. so i pop in Empire EFI and it asks me to put in my disc, and it doesnt read. then i figure i should try Rebel EFI just to see if it works, but it doesnt read my disc either. i've also tried to do the lifehacker post and install via usb drive but i get kernel panic. any ideas guys? ps. am i supposed to burn the .cdr on a mac? or is PC okay?(pc using imgburn) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203171-for-some-reason-no-efis-read-my-snow-leopard-disc/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
