zvnkt Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Hi everybody. As the title, my problem is that I cannot shudown, everytime I shutdown it turns out to be restart. And even I restart, at the first screen when the laptop loads the BIOS (the screen with 2 options: F2 to Setup and F12 to boot options), it stucks for a long time, much longer than normal (about 2-3 minutes compared to 5 second). The second problem is that I cannot Sleep. When I click Sleep, the screen goes black, but the power button still lights on, and the fan spins too. But I can do anything about it, just hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn off the laptop. In addition, when I leave my laptop for about 5 minutes, the Sleep mode is actived, but the screen stays the same as it was when I leave it, but mouse cursor disappears, and keyboard as well as mouse don't work anymore. My specs: Studio 1555, T6500 2.1ghz, 3GB DDR 800mhz, VGA GMA4500MHD (I have managed to have the native resolution with X3100 patch, but the shutdown, sleep problem occurred right after a fresh installation, so any subsequent kext is innocent.) zvnkt Posted December 21, 2009 Author Share Posted December 21, 2009 Please help! Very urgent. Thank you! Plus: some more problem with the DVD Drive. My DVD drive is sload-load style. But in Mac I cannot insert the disk, and there is no icon for DVD Drive at desktop as well as at Home. However, if I insert disk right after turning on the laptop, and then when boot into Mac, there is a Drive icon for DVD Drive, and the DVD Drive works normally, but if I eject the disk subsequently, and insert again, not succeed. And the problem with the sound, I used VoodooHDA and VoodooPS2Controoler for keyboard touchpad, but when the laptop play a sound file, and I use keyboard or touchpad simultaneously, the sound seems to be interupted. When I release keyboard or touchpad, sound becomes normally. So many problems. Please help me get rid of them! In Cuztominze before installation, I checked VoodooPS2Controller, VoodooHDA sound, chameleon 2.0. Maybe you checked too much driver so it caused your problem. Still need help for my problem!
