jayce504
I'm attempting to install SL to my desktop and for some reason the system reads the disk, prompts me to hit any key to boot from the cd, and then once it gets to the plain white screen where the spinning gear usually appears, nothing happens and it stays on that screen indefinitely. I've got an Asus M4a78 plus motherboard and a 2.7 AMD Dual Core processor. I've installed up to 10.5.7 without issue, but for some reason the SL installer just will not load. I've tried booting with -f, -v, -x and changing SATA mode to AHCI. Also, I'm using the an SL Universal version 3.6 distro. I don't know if that would affect anything. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203152-installer-hangs-when-attempting-to-install-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
