Hello,

I've been using Snow Leopard 10.6.2 for a few weeks now on my former EFI-X machine.

Everything works great and it's very fast, but I'm experiencing a very annoying bug.

Randomly the screen turns black and my computer freezes. I need to hard reboot the computer and then everything seems to be okay again. I actually do think it has to do with my USB-ports, because it happens either when I randomly plug any USB-device to my PC, move my Magic Mouse/ type something with my Wireless Keyboard (both are controlled by a USB-bluetooth stick) or when I'm listening to music through my cheap USB-soundcard. I might add that this didn't happen back when I was using OSX 10.5.

Does anyone experienced something similar and what could be the cause? Do I maybe need an USB fix for 10.6? I tried searching Google with no success. I did read something about the black screen problem appearing when booting, but I'm not sure if it has something to do with it.

My system:

Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R (With F11e bios + DSDT.aml for EP45-DS3R)

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3,16 GHz

8GB DDRII 800MHz

OSX 10.6.2 running through Chameleon RC4 installed on a USB-stick. (It did do this back on Chameleon RC3)

I hope you can help me out on this one =) Many thanks!
