anselmoso
Hi, right now I'm running IATKOS V7 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 and everything's working fine except sleep, that's why I'm planning to upgrade to SL. Just wanted to ask you guys whether my plan's correct: 1. I will create a thumb drive with this tutorial and a retail SL DVD: http://osx86sv.wordpress.com/2009/09/30/ma...-usb-pen-drive/ 2. I will put all the drivers which are known to work with my notebook (Dell Inspiron 1545) into the Extra folder on the thumb-drive where some kexts like Voodoo-stuff are already placed. 3. I boot from this thumb drive and start the SL installation. 4. I choose custom installation and select the specific kexts I need for my system (audio, wireless, etc) ---> I'm done and have a SL I can upgrade with official software update. Any errors in my plan?
