4fingerninja Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 ok so i got snow leopard. its on my windows 7 amd desktop which i hopefully can install it on there. i also have the older white macbook with snow leopard. i have no way of burning a dvd of the dmg. what i do have is a 500gb lacie external drive. i have previously tried to install ideneb v1.4 on the custom amd desktop that i built that now has windows 7. but that fail because it hung on still waiting for root device and tried many things to fix that with no success. i have been looking on ways to install it but havent found any that would help me. i thought about using boot 132 but i dont have a physical dvd, i have the external that i can boot from with 10.6 in snow leopard. i can mod the image using terminal on my macbook. basically i need to do a retail install from scratch on an amd machine. full specs of desktop amd athlon 64 x2 5200 ecs geforce7050m-m ddr2 800 2gb 9600gt wd 500gb sata ide dvd burner Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203049-snow-leopard-retail-install/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
