kt6uk
I'm new to Mac's and Hackintosh generally but after following the guide below, reading a lot of stuff on this forum, plus a little bit of irq / kext tweaking I now have a nearly perfect 10.6.2 install on a GigaByte GA-P35-ds3L MB with the latest F9 bios. http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required I have audio on ACL888, Firewire on a TI PCi card and video from a 8800GT - all working great. Just need to get sleep and time machine working, but before I go any further I need a rescue disk in case anything goes wrong :-) Question - what do you guys recommend ? 1. Generic linux rescue disk ? 2. Custom disk ? If so, have would I create it ? 3. Something else ? Many thanks for such a great forum - I've learnt a lot!
