Spec of my Toshiba Satellite L40 (My upgrade) CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 @ 2 Ghz 960GL/965GM Intel motherboard 3 GB Ram X3100 Intel Graphics Realtek 8187B Wi Fi SATA 320 GB HDD 1.Download Mac OS X Snow Leopard Universal V 3.5 (just google it) 2.Burn it slow with Nero 3.Boot it from DVD with Boot 132 4.In installation menu with Disk Utility erase a partition where you will instal future Snow Leopard (do not erase Leopard !!!!) GUID or Mbr doesn't matter 5.Quit Disk Utility 6. Pres Continue 7.Open Terminal and type cd / (press enter) sh MakeDSDT nameofyoursnowleopartition press enter again enter 0 for darwin karnel pres enter 8.Quit terminal 9. For Continuing of installation click to continue,select the partition for snow leopard ,Install and after instalation click Restart 12.Boot from Snow Leopard give`s you karnel panic on Apple screen ok ok dont panic 13.Restart 14.Boot from Leopard 15.With OSX86 tools instal following IOATAFamily.kext (google it ) to Snow Leopard partition so in menu choose Snow Leopards partition and click INSTALL but dont restart !!!! 16. Patch IOATAFamily-panic-fix.path (google it ) must be placed in Snow Leopards partition in /System/Library/Extensions/IOATAFamily.kext/Contents/Mac OS !!!! 17.Open In Utlities -Disk Utilitiy - fixx the snow leopard partition with Repair Disk Permitions 17.Now restart a computer 18.Boot with -v snow leopards partition and yes you are happy now ))Fancy intro is started but wait its still to go 19.Big possibility is that your CD/DVD is not recognized so IOATAFamily.kext must be re-instaled again with Kext Helper B7 (google it) run with Kext Permitions and Install it 20.RTL8187B is not installed so first you need to download Realtek USB Wi Fi Utility (google it) 21.After downloading install it 22.Restart the computer 23.Disable USB legacy from BIOS 24.Boot Snow Leopard 25.Open Terminal and write follow code sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/RTL8187Bt.kext/Contents/Info.plist and hit Enter 26.Now you are in Info.plist find a string 31161 replace it with 31175 27.CTRL +X 28. Press Y for Yes 29. Hit Enter 30.
