Ok.. I keep getting the same thing over and over.. I've tried different drivers and tried to find different distros of osx86 but haven't found one yet.. Im using.. Kalyway.. 10.5 .. everything on the install seems to go ok.. I get done it reboots and I get the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinny thing.. then I get a grey screen.. and thats it.. I'm going to let it sit over night and see if it passes.. btw im using a HP Compaq 8510p

 

any suggestions would be great..

I let the machine run all night and till nothing but the grey screen.. I set iPC to download last night and it should be done sometime to day.. If I can i'll try it tonight and let you know what happins.

Have you configured your BIOS to AHCI?

 

If not that would be the KEY REASON why Darwin won't load Mac OS X Properly.

 

An alternative, if you could for me, enter Chameleon, press a key before the Timeout, and then enter "-v" and press Enter, and post the part where it hangs in the Booting Process. Most likely it will be a "Still waiting for boot device", but it could be something else.

I dont think my bios has that option for AHCI...
