Ok with Tax season around the corner I am thinking of getting another notebook. here is my first Q.

which company should I go with? Dell, HP, Asus, etc???

So far I am satisfied with both the prices and hardware of HP.

I plan on installing Leapord so I have a better chance of having a 100% working machine. Now I want to dual boot and I am going with any laptop that can have the core i7 820 processor as the 720 just isn't what I am looking for and the 920 is too expensive. I am also looking into laptops which in my opinions have decent gaming cards. so with these interests in mind please let me know which notebook might be best for me.

my budget is no more than 1800-2000. I might get a i7 720 just to save me some money. I want to have both the windows 7 professional and osx running on it.

also my 2nd question was about a specific HP notebook.

It is a 17 inch pavillion dv7t, core i7 720 or 820, with 8 gigs of ram, 1 GB Geforce 230M graphics, 1 TB Dual SATA hard drive, and a DVD drive. With the i7 820 it comes to 2,100 dollars or so. and about $1600 for the 720 processor.
