Leader86
The max resolution available is a feature of your screen, it's not something you can improve by software. Usually 17'' monitors have max resolution @ 1024x768, if you want 1920x1200 you should buy a new 24'' or more monitor, checking if its max (or native) resolution is enough for your needs. Max resolution depends on the graphic adapter and its available kext for OSX not the screen itself. Yours I believe can go up to 1280x800 with the right kext. Also it's related with the screen frequency supported by OSX. I have 19" screen which works in 1440x900 in Windows but I couldn't get more than 1152x720 @ 60 MHz with OSX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/202481-how-to-get-more-resolution-on-my-screen/#findComment-1361142 Share on other sites
