Catevs Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 I have problem with taking screenshots (shift+cmd+3 or 4) I hear sound, but nothing happens. If I use Grab i get blank/white screenshot. does anyone had simillar problem? Any solution for that? Catevs Posted December 17, 2009 Author Share Posted December 17, 2009 I reinstalled 10.6 and updated to 10.6.2 with combo update, but problem with screen capture is still here. Maybe there is problem with gfx drivers? Looked at xbench site and that is good result. Well I think you're right about it being related to the Graphics Card. I use a Ati 3870 (which isn't really supported in SL). To get it to work I had to delete the ATIRadeonX2000.kext and replace the boot-file in the chameleon bootdriver with a PC EFI replacement and then load a bios rom using the command -useatirom at startup. Not exactly a clean way of doing things. And I'm still lacking qe/ci. After properly setting up my video card/installing it was fixed. No trouble now, preview and screenshots work.
