I have tried everything from ntfsMounter to NTFS3G. The drive is listed as Name : WDC WD5000AAKS-00TMA0 Media Type : Disk Partition Map Scheme : Master Boot Record Disk Identifier : disk1 Media Name : WDC WD5000AAKS-00TMA0 Media Media Type : Generic Connection Bus : SATA Device Tree : IODeviceTree:/PCI0@0/IDE1@1F,2/SECD@1/PMP@0 Writable : Yes Ejectable : Yes Location : External Total Capacity : 500.11 GB (500,107,862,016 Bytes) S.M.A.R.T. Alex HQuest Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 sudo -s (type in your account password) mkdir /Volumes/NTFS mount_ntfs /dev/disk1s1 /Volumes/NTFS enjoy your (read-only) volume. No custom kexts, no custom commands, plain (snow) leopard stuff.
