meisterk Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 I finally have a working Hackintosh, all is good on the 10.4.6 front. Except... all the HDV clips that I was using on a G4 mac turn out as a green screen on Quicktilme and FCP! That is really weird because everything works flawlessly. I tried looking for other AppleHDVCodec.component files to no avail. Has anybody had HDV working on their Hackintosh? meisterk Posted June 25, 2006 Author Share Posted June 25, 2006 Yes FCP / DVD Player work flawlessly. In FCP I can do DV work without a problem, H264 clips work in Quicktime etc... Everything works great except that blasted HDV codec.
