TE0I0TEJIb
Hello I have Acer Aspire 5520g with mcp67 motherboard with AMD Turion 64 x2 (TL-60, 2.0 GhZ, 2x 512 kb L2 cache) I have Windows 7, Mac OSX 10.5.8(iDeneb) and Mac OSX 10.6(Retail) installed In Windows 7 everything works fine But in both OSX there serious overheating problems: every 3-5 minutes my computer slows down and there is strange noise, coming NOT from loudspekers. This overheating can be even when 80% of CPU is idle. I've tried different kernels and smbios but this didnt help I've tried cleaning my laptop, but this didnt help I've tried CPUThrottler2Beta2, but he couldn't even dedect my frequency I've tried Voodoopower in 10.5, but whith it my system become VERY slow The only thing working is cpus=1, but I want both cores working! I just can't solve m problem myself, maybe I have to edit somehow Voodoopower? or is it problem with my fans? Sorry for my bad English Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/202310-serious-overheating-problems/ Share on other sites
