Tony Hanna
Search function wasn't working for me, so hopefully this hasn't been beat to death. Anyhow, I'm currently running iPC 10.5.6 on two machines. What I'd like to do is buy Leopard and switch over to retail installations (EULA be d@mned, but I like the OS enough that I do want to pay for it). The problem is that since SL came out, it looks like Leopard has been pulled off the shelves. Are there any options for buying Leopard (preferably a 10.5.6 family pack) short of picking it up used on ebay? Thanks, Tony Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/202254-buying-leopard-now-that-sl-is-out/ Share on other sites

I checked out your thread but I'm afraid I don't have anything helpful to add. I got lucky and my laptop was a pretty straight forward installation with a couple good guides already written for it by the time I got around to trying OS X. The desktop box was the same way. I've not had one refuse to boot from the DVD yet. Hopefully somebody with more experience will be able to help you out.
