buschi2626 Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 Hello everybody, this is my first topic here! Its a really great forum...... I installed iAttkos on a pch-dl mobo. Unfortunatley The Hard-Drive speed is very low (about 2.5 Mb/s). I loaded the new kext IOATAFamily.kext and modified it to my controller id. (its a 6300ESB PATA/SATA) but still low speed on my controller... I guess that the problem is caused by AppleGenericPCATA.kext because i can see in the kextstat that its loaded and i read here in the forum that i should try to delete this kext and reboot but i can not find it! Its not in S/L/E, and its not in the IOATAFamily.kext..... Can anybody help me, please?? thx EDIT: Chipset of the board is Intel® 82875P, the 6300ESB ATA/SATA controller has 2 ATA ports and 2 SATA ports, SATA DVD is on Primary master, SATA HDD Maxtor 160GB is primary slave.
