Hello everyone. This is my first post here.

I have a 13" Macbook Pro and just purchased today my original copy of Snow Leopard. Just installed it and seems everything works fine so far. Except for the fact that I can't seem to get the updates installed.

I try updating the OS through software update and it just won't install the 10.6.2 combo. I tried downloading it from apple.com but I get the same thing. Click install and it doesn't run. I tried downloading the 10.6.1 combo from apple.com but the same thing happens as well. I click install but the update won't run.

I tried repairing my disc permissions over at Disc Utility but that doesn't help.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? This is annoying and I have no clue why I can't get my Snow Leopard updated.

Help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I'd like to help you Fabio.

Just, can you post a screenshot or a text dump or installer dump of the error or errors that are displayed when you try mounting the Update .DMG file?

Only then can any of us here go ahead about resolving the issue.

Coz, As many here are using Hackintoshes, your true blue Macbook... should NOT give any errors....

That's my opinion, and experience so far.

So, looking forward to your input and cooperation.

-Regards,
