Here's the specs for the dv8t:

Intel® Core i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB)

4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) from 3GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection

1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 230M

18.4" diagonal High Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity Display (1920x1080p)

Blu-Ray +/-R/RW with SuperMulti

Intel Wireless-N Mini-card

All this is $1500!! Of course you can configure a dv6 or 7 to be almost as good for like $1200 as well. The display on this is too big imo, but I do want a desktop replacement. So far as I've read, no one has gotten the dv series to work perfectly, and the Intel-N wifi card doesn't work? Anyway I think these would make the best performance hackbooks for the price, so let me know what you think out there.

Or are there any desktop replacement types that work well that people hackintoshify a lot?
