Hello all,

 

Great site, great information.

 

I want to bypass the wifi whitelist on my system. I want to do it myself, I'm not asking anyone to do it for me. I have been researching and found bits and pieces of what I need, but I am still unclear on a few things.

 

In the 30BBF16._whitelist.doc file, I don't know who authored it, it shows the following

"String table entry 0x138

 

'104-Unsupported wireless network device detected.', 0Dh, 'System Halted. Remove device and restart.'

 

Offset

 

14D4 B83801 mov ax,138 ;error 104-Unsupported wireless

 

14D7 9A995800F0 call 0F000:05899 ;"

 

 

How do you find the "String table entry"? It is not the same in the F.30 bios for my system.

 

I have examined four different bios' from other models on this fourm and although they are different systems that use different bios' the offsets are the same in hexit. This observation does not apply to my system. The offsets are larger dispite the bios is half the size of the others.

 

Can anyone explain this?
