mandj
Ok I got it fixed finally! I have a Ep45-ds4 with 4gb ram and a $60 celleron dual core(just to see if it would work) I followed the team liquid tutorial (fat guy jumping) Very Awesome tutorial! http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessag...?topic_id=95364 only i did the failsafe bios settings but turned on ahci and first boot device dcrom 2nd hard drive I could only get an external usb dvd rom to boot with(might have been an incorrect setting or somthing-but it worked- the internal sats dvd rom works now dnt know why it didnt want to boot) used the 132cd to load the $39 retail snow leopard Then shut it down had to use the boot cd again to sellect hard drive then it boots and I fill in all the info then once thats up and running I installed the ep45ud3p snow leopard.pkg.zip file from lifehacker tutorial http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/life...now_Leopard.zip and at the same time updated the apple software. Then restart and it worked perfect .it also updated the sound and graphics drivers by itself. Im using a 8800xt card Now running smooth I then appled the bios setting that this tutorial recomments and it works perfect! I removed the above kexts and the onboard firewire doesnt work,so I put in a generic firewire pci card and it works. So another success with the Ep45-ds4 The snow leopard hackintosh must be the cheapest pc to make. Way cheeper than a windows disk anyway.
